For using our medical transcription services, our clients use various methods to dictate files — from using a phone on an 800 number or directly through their PC microphone to even a digital handheld recorder. All voice-file and data transfer procedures are HIPAA compliant.

We normally archive all transcribed reports on compact discs. Since our inception, we have made it a point to preserve the entire voice files for a minimum of 1 year, after which they are deleted from our storage systems. This is to ensure that we are able to resend a particular report on receiving a request from the client. With regards to the time parameters, they may be amended as per the customer’s requirements.
